Now Hiring - Counter Sales/Inventory in Apex, NC

On-Site Hose Inc is a family-owned local business based out of Apex, NC.

Here at On-Site Hose, we specialize in the fabrication and installation of hydraulic hoses and fittings on heavy machinery. We have a large amount of customers who call us out to do work on site; However, we still maintain a large quantity of customers that come into our office for hose replacements/repairs.

Daily Tasks:

• Ability to work in a team environment and build positive synergies
• Excellent customer service
• Manage inventory and ordering from assigned wholesale suppliers and their line of products
• Keep organized records of supplier transactions
• Excellent computer skills - Quickbooks and Microsoft Office
• Maintain inventory on shelves in clean and properly labeled bins
• Other specific tasks as assigned by the Shop Manager
• Schedule is Monday - Friday 7am to 5pm and one Saturday a month from 7am to 2pm (after training is completed)

Process Improvement:

• Develop tracking forms and measures to increase the accuracy of inventory counts

Skills Required:

• An affinity for numbers with excellent memorization skills
• Be comfortable in working in a warehouse environment
• Exhibit excellent documentation and organizational skills
• Demonstrate a high level of proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite
• Must be able to lift packages up to 60 pounds repetitively

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
